my favorite so far

Since beginning my sewing adventure, my favorite experience has to be deconstructing a kippah (Jewish ritual head covering usually worn by men in synagogue) to find the perfect pattern.  I tried many different tutorials before deciding to take apart a perfectly good kippah for the answer.  I've taken old t-shirts and other fabrics to upcycle and repurpose them into one-of-a-kind unique kippot (that's plural for kippah) that are a big hit!  Here is one I made for my husband that he loves:
